On 13th February, 2022, the homeschooling community of the twin cities was brought together for a day of inspiration and festivities at Brave Learners’ Curriculum and Makers’ Faire, dubbed “Stronger Together”.
The first run of this event in 2019 had been a great success, but this time round the response was even more overwhelming, with over 150 families attending.
The fair was divided into three sections, with something for everyone! It included curriculum stalls for mums and dads, stalls by various publishers and Makers Niche where crafters, artists, science enthusiasts and entrepreneurs of the homeschooling community showcased their diverse talents and creations.
Festive hubbub filled the atmosphere in the Makers’ Section, where there were 23 stalls by young makers – selling and displaying talents such as:
In addition, there were also 16 food and games stalls. Young entrepreneurs were selling all kinds of homemade food – from pasta, dahi bhallay, lemonade to cupcakes, sandwiches and delicious baked goodies. Youngsters had also setup interesting games stalls like Darts, Ring a Bear, Buzz Out, Puzzle Pop, Flip the Bottle and many more!
